Hi!
I really wish I could talk to you face to face during this one way conversation but unfortunately the internet will have to do right now! I LOVE people, they are my passion in life! So obviously I will love you someday when I will hopefully l get to meet you!
I have been in photography now professionally for 4 years! Seems crazy really because it flew by so fast! I have learned so much in the past years; from first interning at a photography studio in Chicago to then getting hooked up with an online photography forum and meeting tons of my close friends on there(scary I know!) who have trained me in so many ways!
First starting out I would just shoot flowers and my brothers and sisters, then one fateful day one of my friends asked me to shoot her wedding! Even scarier is I had to shoot it with a little film camera with only 5 rolls of film!
Four years and close to 60 weddings later has made that FAR less scary and has turned it into one of my favorite things to do ever!
Since first starting I've had so many amazing opportunities from shooting the Fox Emmy Awards party in Beverly Hills to being featured in magazines such as Brides Chicago, CCM, and Brio, also having my work on the cover of the band Barlowgirl's albums and so many more amazing things that photography has opened the door to! Its an incredible ride!
I have always known I was supposed to be a teacher in some way but DEFINITELY never wanted to be a school teacher (way too hard!) so after I learned some things in photography I immediately wanted to share the love! I had interns even in my first year! Since then I've learned and trained under several amazing photographers who have taught me to come up to an even higher level!
Two years ago I started the official intern program and since then have trained up about 15 interns who are absolutely incredible photographers! I am so proud of them and from them really saw how much I LOVED helping people to really find their passion and equip them to walk forward into it! I'm so excited to get to know you!!
Love, Sarah
