What does being an intern mean? Do I have to work a lot?

Actually not really! We just call it interning so that it sounds like you are actually doing a lot of work when you tell others, but really it is ten days full of photo shoots, editing, hanging out, going out to eat, having slumber parties and dance parties, meeting other photographers, and learning everything that I possibly know about running a super fun photography business! Pretty simple! No cramming for finals or homework or anything! Just ten days of photography business immersion!

Am I cool enough to be able to do this??

Well actually, to be honest we'll have to make sure about that! ;) Basically the requirements would be #1: you have to be shorter than me (5'1")but very strong so that you can carry all of my bags. Then again I don't know if there is anyone out there like that! Ha! Basically this interning program is for people who are really serious and ready to start their photography business or already have but need that little extra kick in the butt of inspiration to really get moving!

How do I join the club??

No worries our initiations aren't TOO life threatening! Basically write an email to me(go to the Register page) telling why you would love to be a part of this program, who you are and what your life story is;) or just whatever you are about! I want to know exactly why YOU should be part of this program this year! Gosh this is sounding like Oprah! Lol

How much is this going to cost? Will I have to sell an organ to be able to come??

Thankfully no!! First starting out in your business you have zillions of fun little things to spend your money on its crazy! I wish they just had a package called "Everything you possibly need to become an incredible photographer" how nice would that be?? I decided that they SHOULD have that so that is why we put this interning program together! So that once you leave you will have everything you need to blow the world away with your skillz! So it is a mere $1500 for ten days!

Where am I going to stay? Do I have to sleep in a tent??

Well thankfully this year we have improved accommodations and you will no longer have to sleep outside.... JUST KIDDING!

The internship includes 10 days stay at a pimped out apartment called the ICON in the most up and coming area of downtown Nashville! Basically like a reality TV show but in REAL life! All youll need to bring is a your blanky if you still use one;)

What should I bring? They allow 10 check-in bags right??

Bring yourself. Who you truly are...even if you dont well be bringing it out of you so be prepared!! A laptop is a WONDERFUL thing to have for this and is highly recommended, a digital SLR camera is required....how are you supposed to become a photographer without a camera?? :) And extra money for fun stuff and when we all go out to sweet places to eat!

What will I come away with?

Souvenirs are so much fun! I always love when people bring them home for me, maybe I should return the favor sometime huh??
